صلاة الجمعة – Jumu’ah (Friday) Prayer

Jumu’ah (Friday) prayer is a very important act of worship, an obligation upon the Muslim men to safeguard on a weekly basis!

The Prophet ﷺ said خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا وَلاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلاَّ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ
“The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created. on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it. And the last hour will take place on no day other than Friday.“
(Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Collected by Imam Muslim)

The khutbah begins at 1:30 p.m. when DAYLIGHT SAVINGS time is in effect (Mid March to November)

The khutbah begins at 12:30 p.m. when STANDARD time is in effect. (Beginning of November up to mid March)
